Hi, I’m Julie

Further along the same path.

18 years an immigrant. 12 years in corporate London. Quietly self-abandoning the whole way. Then I crashed. Left. Trained in India. Traded consumption for knowledge. Healed myself from the inside out. Started the practice from the middle of my own rebuild.

Today I live between the jungle and Europe because I chose to stop choosing where to belong. I stopped settling for a life I succeeded in but didn’t fully live. I started living one I chose – consciously, with purpose, with love.

The Embodied Truth Method exists because the lost woman I used to be needed something the wellness industry never built.

I built it. For her. For you.

One crash rearranged my spine.

Twelve years in corporate HR – running rooms, hitting numbers, owning property, winning on paper. I was also tired in a way no weekend could fix. Sad and lost in a way no conversation alone could reach Then a crash rearranged my spine. Major surgery. A year in and out of hospitals. I had to rebuild from the body up.

Yoga became less of a class, more of a life. Coaching became less of a conversation, more of a return. Spirituality stopped being a post and became a practice – a daily one. I stopped chasing more to be approved. I chose less, and was finally enough.

The method I built is the method I needed.

Numbness is a slow no.

There is a version of accomplishment that costs you yourself. The autopilot. The half-life. The woman who can no longer feel her own preferences. The body she stopped operating in –  until “I’m fine” became the only sentence she could still say without flinching. I lived in that body for a long time. I do not anymore. That is the only credential I cared about earning.

The credentials are the floor, not the ceiling.

The training under this method took years, and continues. Here is the floor it stands on.

I live the way I work.

I love Europe – the cafés, the books, the centuries-old streets, the pace. I love the wild equally – the jungle, the land, the unedited way of living close to what matters. I chose not to choose. I teach and hold spaces between Costa Rica and online, worldwide. I run retreats in places that make stillness easier. I write from an early-morning terrace, admiring birds and butterflies. I take breaks in the sea and at waterfalls when my body asks for them. The Sunday blues are gone.

The shape of my life is the shape of the work – yoga off the mat, body included, a life built from the inside, not the outside. This is what self-abundance looks like in a real week.

If this is the work you’re after – let’s connect.

What this work is, in one sentence and paragraph.

Falling in love with life

I built this because I needed it – and because I knew I wasn’t alone in needing it. Self-abandonment is the silent rule too many of us live by, dressed up as accomplishment, productivity, or “I’m fine.” We accept it. We let it run the one life we have. Until one day the body says no.

Once I found my clarity, my freedom, my aliveness – I knew I had to share it. With the woman at the table next to me. The friend on the call. The version of me from a year earlier. Quietly missing in her own life, and almost never saying so out loud.

Because I want to see this world alive. Not surviving.

The method: The method is the integration of yoga as a way of living, coaching as conscious mind, energy as the body’s intelligence, life as the ground all of it walks on — woven by one practitioner trained across all four lanes. Me. Built for the one relationship every other relationship stands on. The one with yourself.
