These terms govern your use of this website and your engagement with Julie LiT – coaching, Practice, Sessions, Corporate work, free resources, and everything in between. Retreats have their own dedicated terms on each retreat page. Read this slowly. If anything is unclear, write before you book.

02 — WHAT’S COVERED

What These Terms Cover

These terms apply to all engagements with Julie LiT, including:

  • 1:1 coaching and discovery calls
  • Live in Truth · Practice (group practice and programmes)
  • Live in Truth · Sessions (standalone Reiki, breathwork, and clarity sessions)
  • Live in Truth · Corporate (workshops, talks and wellbeing engagements)

Retreats are governed by their own dedicated terms, which take precedence over these general terms for retreat-specific matters. See the retreat page you are booking from for the applicable terms.

03 — THE WORK

Services Offered

Julie LiT provides coaching, yoga-led practice, somatic and mind-body work, and energy work for individuals, groups and corporate clients, delivered online and in person. The work is grounded in the Embodied Truth Method — a Land · Listen · Live framework that integrates body, mind and nervous system.

Julietta Petrosyan is a certified holistic life coach, certified mind-body practitioner, 200-hour yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner. She is not a licensed medical doctor, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, registered dietitian, or financial or legal advisor. The work offered here is not a substitute for therapy, medical treatment, psychiatric care, or professional legal or financial advice.

04 — WHO CAN BOOK

Eligibility & Capacity

By booking with us, you confirm that you are:

  • 18 years of age or older (retreats and certain programmes may require 21+ — see the specific page)
  • Mentally and emotionally capable of making your own decisions and entering into a contract
  • Not currently in acute mental health crisis or active suicidal ideation
  • Aware that you are fully responsible for your choices, actions, and outcomes

We may decline a booking or end an engagement if we have reasonable concern that the work is not the right fit for your current circumstances. Where this happens before delivery, fees paid will be refunded in full minus payment processing charges.

05 — HOW WE TAKE PAYMENT

Booking, Payment & Pricing

Bookings

Bookings are made via our scheduling platform (currently Calendly) or by direct written agreement.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of booking unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing. Accepted methods are credit and debit cards via Stripe, and other secure options listed at checkout. We do not store card details.

Pricing

Prices for current services are published on the website or quoted directly. Prices may change from time to time. The price you have already paid or formally agreed for a booking is honoured; new pricing applies to any new bookings made after the change.

Currency

Some services may be priced in USD or EUR. Currency conversion fees and bank surcharges are your responsibility.

Packages & programmes

Multi-session packages and programmes must be paid in full at the start, or in line with a written payment plan agreed in advance.

06 — IF YOU NEED MORE TIME

Payment Plans

Where a payment plan is in place:

  • Scheduled installments must clear on the agreed dates
  • A failed or missed installment without communication may result in the pause or cancellation of access to the programme, and the forfeiture of any benefits or sessions still to come
  • Funds already paid are not refunded for missed installments
  • We will always reach out before taking any action — talk to us early if your circumstances change

07 — WHEN PLANS SHIFT

Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand life happens. Please give us as much notice as you can.

1:1 sessions, clarity sessions and Reiki sessions

Minimum 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, and no-shows, are non-refundable and count as a used session.

Discovery calls

Free of charge. Please give 12 hours’ notice if you cannot make it, so we can offer the slot to someone else.

Practice (group programmes)

Specific cancellation terms are listed on each programme’s registration page. As a default, places are non-refundable but transferable up to 14 days before the programme begins, subject to availability.

Corporate engagements

Cancellation terms are set out in the written agreement for each engagement. As a default, 50% of the fee is due on booking and is non-refundable; the balance is due 14 days before delivery.

Coaching packages

If you need to end a coaching package early, please write to us. Unused sessions may be eligible for a partial refund at our discretion, calculated as: fee paid, minus the value of sessions used at the standalone rate, minus an administrative fee to cover preparation time and payment processing.

Retreats

See the dedicated retreat terms on the relevant retreat page. Retreat cancellation policy is stricter due to non-recoverable third-party commitments.

08 — HOW REFUNDS WORK

Refunds & Processing

Refunds, where due, are processed within 14 working days to the original payment method, less a 3% administrative processing fee to cover non-refundable payment processor charges. Where a refund is partial, the calculation will be shared with you in writing before processing.

09 — YOUR PART

Client Responsibilities

By working with us you agree to:

  • Show up fully and honestly to sessions
  • Arrive on time and respect session start and end times
  • Take personal responsibility for your choices, your actions, and your results
  • Communicate openly if something is not working
  • Use the work ethically, and not to harm yourself or others
  • Treat the facilitator and any other participants with respect

We reserve the right to refuse service, end a session, or terminate an engagement without refund where conduct is abusive, threatening, repeatedly disruptive, or otherwise incompatible with the safe holding of the work.

10 — HONEST ABOUT THE WORK

Coaching is Not Therapy or Medical Care

The work offered by Julie LiT is coaching, embodied practice, and somatic and energy work. It is not psychotherapy, psychological treatment, psychiatric care, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any condition.

We do not make any claims to heal, cure, or resolve specific medical, psychological or psychiatric conditions. If you are receiving therapeutic or medical care, the work here is complementary and is not a replacement.

If you are in acute distress, please contact your GP, your therapist, or — in the UK — the Samaritans on 116 123. Internationally, please contact your local crisis line.

11 — BODIES IN MOTION

Physical Practice, Movement & Health

Yoga, breathwork, somatic practice, cold exposure (where offered) and any physical or breath-based practice carry inherent risk, including the risk of physical injury.

By participating, you confirm that:

  • You have disclosed any condition that could materially affect your safety, including pregnancy, cardiovascular conditions, recent surgeries, high or low blood pressure, seizure history, joint or back injuries, and any serious mental health diagnosis
  • You will modify, pause or opt out of any practice that does not feel safe in your body — opt-out is always available and never penalised
  • You are responsible for your own choices in practice and for any medications, treatments or care decisions you make

We will hold the container with care, training and presence. We are not, in this setting, your physician or therapist.

12 — WHAT STAYS IN THE ROOM

Confidentiality

What you share in 1:1 sessions, in private correspondence, and on intake forms is treated as confidential. We will not share your personal information, your story, or what you have disclosed in session with anyone, except:

  • Where you have given explicit consent
  • Where there is a credible, immediate risk of serious harm to you or another person
  • Where required by law, court order, or safeguarding obligation

In group settings — Practice, programmes, retreats, workshops — you also agree not to share, by name or identifying detail, what another participant discloses, on social media, in group chats, or in any public forum. Your story is yours to tell. Others’ stories are not.

Full detail on how your personal data is handled is in our  Privacy Policy.

13 — ON THE RECORD

Recordings of Sessions

We may record online sessions, group calls and programme content for your personal review and our quality assurance. Where a recording will be made, you will be told in advance. Recordings shared with you are for your personal use only and may not be copied, distributed, posted online, or shared with any third party.

You may not record a session yourself without our prior written consent.

19 — WHEN WE END AN ENGAGEMENT

Termination & Refusal

We may decline to take a booking, decline to continue an engagement, or end a session immediately, where:

  • You are abusive, threatening or unsafe to us, our staff, our partners, or other clients
  • The work is, in our professional judgement, not the right fit for your current circumstances

20 — THE LIMITS OF OUR ROLE

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Julie LiT — Live in Truth is not liable for any indirect, consequential, special or incidental loss arising from your use of the website or services
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the services, however arising, is limited to the total amount you have paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law

You acknowledge that coaching, somatic practice, breathwork, yoga and any embodied work involve personal effort, vulnerability and — where physical — inherent risk, and you accept responsibility for your participation.

21 — BEYOND OUR HANDS

Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in delivery of services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: serious illness or incapacity of the facilitator, natural disasters, pandemic or public health emergency, war or civil unrest, government action, travel restrictions, critical supplier failure, or major technology outages.

In such cases we will, where reasonably possible, reschedule, offer credit for a future engagement, or refund any unrecoverable portion of fees paid.

22 — UPDATES

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, the law, or best practice. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will always show the most recent version. For substantive changes affecting active clients, we will notify you in writing.

Your continued use of the site or services after a change has been posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these terms will be addressed first by direct written communication. Where direct resolution is not possible, the dispute will be addressed through mediation in England before any further action. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter not resolved by mediation.

If you are a consumer based in the EU, this clause does not affect your statutory consumer rights under the law of your country of residence.
