Wild
Softness

A 7-day women’s retreat for the woman who’s ready to be soft and wild – in the same body, at the same time.

MARCH 3 – 10, 2027

PUERTO ESCONDIDO, MEXICO

12 WOMEN

Priority pricing – our way of honoring the women who answer early.

You haven’t been numb.
You’ve been
holding it all together. Wild Softness  is what happens when you finally put it down.

You’ve done the workshops. Read the books. Held it together for everyone else.

You crave depth. Real, not performed.

You’re ready to feel your own feet on the ground again.

THE FOUNDATION OF THE WEEK
Land · Listen · Live

The week moves through three phases – Land, Listen, Live – honouring you as whole: body, mind, energy, soul.. We begin by landing in the body, where sensation opens the door inward. The body becomes language. We listen to what it says. And that listening shapes how you walk back into your life.

The four elements move through each phase as felt experience, not metaphor – qualities the body already knows. Earth  steadies. Water softens. Fire  transforms. Air liberates. You move through them. They move through you.

Land
Earth · Days 1–3

Arrival into body, place, and circle. Slow yoga, grounding, ceremony, real rest. By the end of Day 3, your nervous system stops running. You feel your feet .

Listen
Water & Fire · Days 4–5

The middle. Where the noise quiets and what’s underneath rises. Breathwork, temazcal, sound, fire. Held, witnessed, never rushed.

Live
Air & Fire · Days 6–7

Integration and embodiment. Not “what did I learn” but “how do I walk now?” Celebration, commitment, the door home – and a thread back to each other.

WHAT THE WEEK HOLDS

Designed for your wholeness.

Every offering earns its place. Every activation is paired with a downshift. Nothing is decoration.

Daily Yoga

Restorative to dynamic to integrative. The body’s progression, not a generic flow.

Breathwork

One held, deep session. Placed when your system is ready – not before.

Temazcal

On-site sacred sweat. A rite of release, held with care.

Cacao Ceremony

Open-hearted gathering on the threshold. The opening that sets the week.

Fire Ceremony

The midweek crossing. What you came to lay down meets the flame.

Moon Ceremony

Aligned with the actual sky on retreat dates. We work with the lunar cycle, not against it.

Sound Bath

Deep nervous system reset, woven into the week’s quietest day.

Ecstatic Dance

Embodied joy, no choreography. Your body, finally moving how it wants to.

Ocean Excursion

One full day on the Pacific. Sea, sky, story – the wide-open middle.

International Women’s Day Celebration

March 8 falls inside our week. We don’t tack it on. We build a day of celebration around it.

Optional Ice Plunge

Always opt-in, never peer-pressured. Your edge is yours.

Spaciousness

Real free time, every day. Emptiness is part of the design – not what’s missing from it.

Julie

LiT Founder · Coach · Yoga Teacher

founder of Live In Truth, Certified Holistic Wellness & Lifestyle Coach, Mind-Body Practitioner, and Yoga Teacher. She is the creator of The Embodied Truth Method — a yoga-led, integrative coaching approach designed for women who have spent years carrying everything: leading at work, holding the family together, and showing up for everyone else.

Her work honours a sustainable and integrative approach to wellbeing — body-led, mind-integrated, energy-aware, research-backed, and lifestyle-anchored. Through coaching, yoga, nervous system support, and embodied practices, Julie helps overwhelmed, high-functioning, disconnected women rebuild their relationship with themselves and return to presence, freedom, clarity, and aliveness that naturally transmits into the outer world they create.

Before You Ask A few real questions.

Is this retreat suitable for beginners?

Yes. All levels are warmly welcome, and no previous yoga experience is required. Every practice and session offers variations and guidance for different levels and abilities, always with your comfort and safety in mind. While all activities are thoughtfully designed to support your experience, participation is always an invitation, never a requirement.

Is this my first retreat — am I ready?

Yes. This is for women who are arriving honestly, not performing readiness. The container is trauma-informed and titrated – you’ll be met where you are. No prior retreat experience required.

Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Yes. All dietary requirements, allergies, and food preferences will be treated with care and attention to ensure you feel supported, safe, and nourished throughout your stay.

What language is the retreat held in?

English. Practices, ceremonies, and circles are in English. Local staff at Barbarenas speak Spanish and English.

Are flights included?

No. You’ll fly into Puerto Escondido International (PXM). Once you book, you’ll receive arrival and ground transport guidance – we coordinate the airport pickup window for you.

What if something heavy comes up for me?

It’s expected. Julie is a coach and yoga teacher. Bianca is is a licensed therapist and a yoga teacher. There is real clinical literacy in the room. Nothing about this week is performative.

Can I bring a partner or friend?

This retreat is women-only. If you’d like to come with a friend, the shared room option is built for two – message us when you join the priority list.

What does the deposit hold?

$1,000 secures your seat. Payment plans available — full balance due 60 days before the retreat. Detailed terms shared with priority list members at booking.

What do I need to bring/pack?

Pack for lightness, comfort, and soul. Bring what nourishes your body and allo ws you to move, explore, rest, celebrate, and fully be yourself. Flowing clothing, swimwear, layers for the evenings, and comfortable movement wear are recommended. Leaving a little extra space in your luggage is always a good idea too – Puerto Escondido is full of beautiful local stores and handcrafted pieces you may wish to bring home with you.

How do I get to Barbarians?

Airport transfer arrangements will be coordinated with you upon booking to ensure a smooth and supported arrival experience.

What food would be served?

Fresh, locally sourced meals will be prepared daily by our private chef, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included, alongside nourishing snacks and beverages available throughout the day. Lunches and dinners will be primarily plant-based, with eggs available at breakfast. A mainly plant-based menu is intentionally chosen to support digestion, energy, nervous system regulation, and overall wellbeing throughout the retreat experience while keeping the body feeling light, grounded, and nourished.
